Isabel Berglund Curator
Danish textile designer and artist Isabel Berglund often pushes the art of knitting to the limits. After graduating from The Royal Danish Academy of Fine Arts, School of Design and the Central Saint Martins College Fashion and Textile she has exhibited in various venues worldwide.
Placing Isabel Berglund into a category is impossible. She is an artist, knitting objects and installations that play with reality and perception. She is a designer, conceptualizing headpieces and fashion-inspired showpieces for magazines and art galleries throughout the world. She is a thinker, crafting artwork that make you question your surroundings. And on most days, she is all of the above, knitted together with threads of creativity, freedom and play.
